My name is Dominik Stecula. I am a graduate student of political science at McGill Unvierstiy. I was born and raised in Brzeg, Poland, but spent the last decade in Metro Detroit, Michigan, where I attended high school and college. Since 2006, I have been involved with the Piast Institute, a National Institute for Polish and Polish American Affairs.
Since the fall of 2010, I am a graduate student at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. I study comparative politics and my interest is really in American and European Politics, particularly Poland. I am most interested in the relationship between media, public opinion and policy. Recently, I developed an interest in investigating how the Internet is changing the relationship between the media and the public.
